Recently, two teens in North Carolina, both 16-years-old, were arrested when police discovered explicit text messages exchanged mutually between them. Both teens were charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, but some states “have adapted their laws to protect minors from being labeled sex offenders for sexting.” (Gizmodo)
