MTV International is rebranding to integrate user-generated content, promote emerging artists, and become more like the Instagram of television. The famous “I want my MTV” logo has been changed to “I am my MTV,” and viewers will be able to send in social photos and videos to be broadcast by the channel via the tag #MTVBump. Promos will also become shorter, louder, and more visual. The plan is to not “look like any other broadcaster or brand.” (Marketing Magazine, Fast Company)
