The “Trending” dashboard shows readers real-time “buzzworthy” content based on what stories readers are clicking, sharing, and commenting on the most. Stories generating the most buzz on social media channels are also included, and content is updated every minute. We’ve noted before that many traditional news sources are experimenting with new tactics and mediums to attract younger readers, and “Trending” could be an attempt to keep up with Millennials’ preferences.
