The laws to protect kids’ privacy online have evolved as the internet has changed, and there could soon be a whole new set of measures to regulate companies and keep minors safe. The Do Not Track Kids Act of 2015 is a bill that would extend current protection laws into mobile devices, and expands the definition of minors to include 12-16-year-olds, meaning teen internet users would be covered for the first time.
