The graduating class of 2015 is ready for the workforce, but it’s not as clear if the workforce is ready for them. A recent survey by consulting firm Accenture found that 80% believe their education prepared them well for employment, and 72% completed an internship, apprenticeship, or co-op. Degrees in STEM areas are among the most popular for the grads. However, nearly half of last year’s graduating class feels they are currently underemployed, and many employers are not prioritizing entry-level positions. (Inc., Accenture)
