College enrollment is dropping, down 2% this year from 2014, and the steepest drop is among Millennials in their mid-twenties and older. The pattern indicates that they are reentering the workforce rather than waiting things out in higher education. While this could be good news for the economy, other young people are choosing to eschew a degree altogether “favoring the short-term benefits of a job, rather than the long-term returns of college.” (Bloomberg)
