Young consumers’ political engagement is always being questioned, and a new poll reveals some interesting dichotomies. Although almost 70% of 18-29-year-olds are registered to vote, 79% do not consider themselves “politically engaged or active.” This could be due to the fact that only 17% say they trust Congress and 25% trust the federal government. These negative feelings could be sparking the building activismamong the generation. (NPR)
