Pinterest has been trying to shake off its more feminine rep, and according to new stats released from the company, it’s working. The platform doubled their male user base in the U.S. this year, and last year their male user base grew 73%. Ypulse’s own March social media tracker found that 38% of 18-32-year-old males are using the platform. Wondering what they’re pinning? Guys are using the platform to keep up with a range of interests, creating boards like “Manly, Man Book Collection,” consulting the site for style inspiration, keeping track of their “want list” of gadgets to buy, collecting foodporn, and finding stay-at-home dad family activities.
