“Balance” seems to be a hot-button word for Millennials right now. According to a new survey by health and wellness platform MindBodyGreen, 99% agree that “more and more, I’m trying to find balance in my life,” and 95% say they are increasingly focused on managing or minimizing stress. What that balance looks like is less clear, but it has become somewhat of a status symbol as the generation tends to define themselves by more than their day job. Millennials are at least idealizing finding mindfulness in home, social, and work life, a trend MindBodyGreen refers to as “modern spiritualism.” (MediaPost)
