A recent survey reports that Millennials across the globe share a strong interest in more healthy foods. Nielsen’s Global Health and Wellness Survey across 60 countries discovered that Millennials care more than previous generations about knowing the ingredients in their foods and whether they are GMO free and organic. 41% of younger Millennials and 32% of older Millennials are more willing than older consumers to pay higher prices for food products perceived as healthy. Their buying power is shifting the market: both “all natural” and organic product sales have increased by 24% and 28%, respectively, over the past two years. (USA TODAY)
