With the omnipresent use of emojis by Millennials and teens, these days a texting conversation could easily be confused for hieroglyphics. Emoji use has also spread beyond mobile, and been played with in music videos, fashion, and, sometimes unsuccessfully, marketing. Now Emoji.ink is a site that lets users “draw with emoji.” The site gives users 700+ emojis, from a watermelon to a Christmas tree, and a virtual blank canvas. Clicking on any of the symbols selects it to be used as a paintbrush, and each unique emoji artwork can be saved. Apparently these “trippy” emoji works of art have already been “cropping up on Tumblr.” (Co.Design)
