Millennial musicians have been making fame a team effort, using social media to prop up up-and-comers and lend influence and exposure. This week Taylor Swift demonstrated the power of that behavior, tweeting out an acoustic mashup of two of her songs performed by musicians Louisa Wendorff and Devin Dawson, telling followers she was OBSESSED, and tagging Wendorff. Swift’s shout out gave all of her fans a look at the duo, and the video now has almost 3 million views. (Mashable)
