Millennials’ attitudes about their futures don’t necessarily match up with their current financial situations. Though 80% of 18-34-year-olds “think that they will be as well or better off than their parents,” 35% are still getting help from families, and more than 50% are living paycheck to paycheck. Their savings are suffering as a result: 37% have less than $5000 in savings and 22% don’t save at all. (Forbes)
