Transparency is important to young consumers, and to today’s new parents. Amazon is providing the product background info they demand with their new diaper and baby wipe line Amazon Elements, which is available exclusively to Amazon Prime customers. Scanning the barcode of any of the products brings up information on “when and where items were made, why each ingredient was included, where the ingredients were sourced.” The Amazon Elements line of products will likely expand beyond diapers in the future.
