While holiday shopping is a magical tradition for some, for many, many others it’s a time of stress. Retailers have begun to provide tech solutions to help with the trials of the season of buying, and Target has launched an app to help parents with the trials of shopping with kids. The Bullseye Playground app contains six winter-themed mini-games to entertain children while mom and dad are pushing the cart, and signs around the store will feature codes to unlock more content. The app also includes a social good element: Every time the game is played, $1 will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research. (Adweek)
