Snapchat’s new Discover feature could make outside brands a more regular part of the app, which has managed to steadily grow in popularity—especially with teens—since its launch. The Discover section will bring users original articles, music, and video content from major entertainment brands like BuzzFeed, CNN, ESPN, and Comedy Central. The content would “expire” just as other items shared on Snapchat, so users would have motivation to check in regularly in order not to miss something. (Digiday)
