Millennials might care about the earth, but don’t call them environmentalists. In Pew Research poll earlier this year, only 32% of 18-33-year-olds felt the term describes them very well, compared to 40% of overall respondents. Though they grew up learning to think green, the word has earned a negative connotation over the years, and some believe it is “corrupted” and “politicized.” (NPR)
