It’s well-known that Millennials are liberal, but even members of the generation who do identify as Republicans are much less conservative than older Republicans. A recent study shows that among the roughly one-third of Millennials who refer to themselves as Republican, 51% take a mix of liberal and conservative positions, and 18% have consistently or mostly liberal views. Among Silents and Boomers, about two-thirds are consistently or mostly conservative. These findings indicate that as Millennials age up, all parties may need to become more liberal to align with these voters. (PewResearch)
