A man has raised over $9,500 on Kickstarter to make potato salad. This is no joke. The Kickstarter campaign began with a mere $10 goal, but has ballooned into an internet-wide potato salad fan fest that will support creator Zack Danger Brown in his condiment-heavy quest. Over 1,300 backers will enjoy rewards like signed mayonnaise jars, “I Love Potato Salad” hats, and even a bite of said potato salad, showing that tangible and comical rewards can turn even a small-scale idea into reality.
