Pixar’s movie Inside Out will be their second with a female lead, and their first starring a girl who isn’t a princess. Instead, Riley, the main character and the “setting” where her emotions battle for control, is a normal adolescent girl, one with “band-aids on her knees,” who could give young female viewers a character that they rarely get to identify with.
