Starbucks is launching a program that will give its young baristas a chance at a college education. Starting this fall, the chain will be offering free tuition to Arizona State University’s online courses for baristas in their junior or senior years who work 20 hours a week. Freshman and sophomores will be eligible for scholarships, and 135,000 Starbucks employees could be helped with the “no-strings-attached” program. (The Daily Beast)
