Facebook is trying to win back teens by changing site guidelines to allow 13-17-year-old users to post their content publicly (they were previously confined to posting information for only “friends of friends”). But the move might not be what they are looking for, as younger users of social media are actually more conscious about online privacy than older and have methods to restrict the number of people who have access to their activity.
