Earlier this month, a high school student in Texas decided that he wasn’t going to take a state test that he knew he would not be graded on or would affect his path to college. Instead he scribbled “YOLO :)” on the page along with an explanation that he had something else to study for, then Tweeted an image of the rebellion to school officials, gaining national attention in the process.
