It’s inspiring to see that movies focused on raising awareness do indeed prompt young people to take action. MTV examined the effects that its film (DIS)connected had on viewers with nearly 35,000 young people signing a Digital Bill of Rights following the movie. Moreover, two-thirds of viewers said they were more likely to help friends who were experiencing online abuse. (Fast Company)
