To get young kids interested in wildlife and ecology, the National Wildlife Federation which publishes Ranger Rick magazine, is creating an even younger version called Ranger Rick Jr. aimed at 4-7-year-olds. The publication highlights kids’ interest in animals, provides facts, and activities to encourage kids to explore the outdoors. (NY Times)
