A heartwarming post on Panera’s Facebook page received 500,000 likes and 22,000 comments, showing that brands that care about customers and provide a personal connection with fans will be rewarded. Panera went out of its way to make soup for a teen’s sick grandmother and when he thanked the brand on Facebook, thousands of others showed how much they “liked” this act of kindness too. (Adweek)
