Do European Gen Z Trust AI Chatbots?

AI adoption among European Gen Z is booming, but does this gen really trust the info that AI chatbots gives them?

AI adoption is now mainstream among European Gen Z: 87% of European 13-24-year-olds have used an AI chatbot, according to YPulse’s latest research on artificial intelligence. Plus, this gen is more optimistic about AI than ever before: 81% of 13-24-year-olds now say that AI has a more positive impact on the world than negative, up +7pts since last year. At the same time, however, a recent report from KPMG found that despite increased adoption, trust in AI tools isn’t improving among users globally, with some describing the situation as a “trust crisis.” This raises a key question: as AI adoption grows, is trust in chatbot-generated answers deepening among European Gen Z, or are they beginning to approach these tools with more skepticism?
