Digital reading is on the rise among 6 to 17-year-olds with 46% saying they read an eBook in 2012 compared to 25% in 2010. The new report from Scholastic also reveals that eBooks are helping boys, who are typically less interested in reading, become more engaged. However, this doesn’t mean youth are abandoning print. 80% of kids who read eBooks still read books for fun primarily in print. (Scholastic)
