In a recent Pulse survey, 32% of Millennials & teens do not look forward to V-day and 37% find the holiday meaningless. Un-Valentine’s Day has apparently become quite the trend. Schools and libraries nationwide are sponsoring anti-Valentine’s Day parties. The Mahwah Public Library in Mahwah, New Jersey for example, is hosting an ‘Un-Valentine’s Day’ party this afternoon for 5th – 12th graders. Activities at the event include decorating un-heart cookies, re-writing heart candies, and creating un-Valentine’s Mad Libs. (Mahwah Public Library)
