Burger King’s Halloween campaign gave free meals to Spanish consumers brave enough to order at the scariest time of night.

Burger King’s Halloween campaign gave free meals to Spanish consumers brave enough to order at the scariest time of night. During the week leading up to Halloween, Burger King offered a free meal through its app every morning at 3 a.m.—a.k.a. “the witching hour” when “spirits, ghosts and many unexplained supernatural phenomena are most likely to appear”—helping young consumers get in the spooky spirit in addition to some tasty late-night snacks. YPulse’s WE Halloween survey found that 83% of young consumers in Western Europe celebrate Halloween, and the majority like when brands release holiday-themed products. (The Drum)
