The Oxford Dictionaries Online has recently added a number of tech and teen-inspired slang words much like the ones we introduced you to, including “BYOD” (bring your own device), “digital detox,” “twerk,” “emoji,” “FOMO,” and “selfie.” Though the ODO changes more frequently than the Oxford English Dictionary, we expect formal adoption of some of these terms (just as Queen Bey’s “bootylicious” was added in the past).
