Snapchat is launching a DIY augmented reality tool for brands. According to Snap, 75% of its users engage with AR on the platform daily, and YPulse’s social media monitor found that Snapchat Lenses are one of Gen Z and Millennials’ top 10 used social features. Now, the multimedia messaging app is launching Lens Web Builder, a new ad product that allows brands and advertisers to choose from various 3D objects, animations, and effects as well as the opportunity to add their logo and other images to the filter. According to the company, it’s the “industry’s first web-based AR lens ad production tool.” (Adweek)
