Helzberg Diamond’s $50 “Will You? Ring” comes engraved with the explanation “This is a ring, not the ring.” And in the U.K. Poundland sold 20,000 £1 “Bling Rings”—in one week. But not all the options are cheap; some sport cubic zirconia set in gold bands, acting as a deposit on the real thing. (Vox)
