“Pet-nups” are getting more popular among Millennial newlyweds. Maguire Family Law in the U.K. found that one-third of pet-owning significant others are interested in divvying up custody of their fur babies, and one in twenty already have such an agreement. Meanwhile, an NYC divorce lawyer is seeing pets become a more common part of standard prenups. Although it’s a myth that Millennials are choosing pets over kids, it’s true that they’re having kids later and are spending more than ever on their furry friends. (NYP)
