Self-care apps are surging in popularity and raking in profits. Compared to the first quarter of 2017, the top ten self-care apps made roughly 170% more global revenue this year—for a total of $27 million, according to Sensor Tower. And it should come as no surprise. Young consumers are not only more accepting of mental health disorders, but more tuned in to taking care of their own headspace.
