The days of mega influencers could be coming to an end as more brands go micro. J&J is hiring Instagrammers with around 500 followers to market Clean & Clear (which ranks #20 in the female health & beauty category on our Ybrands tracker), and the small-scale approach is working: their videofeaturing Dillon Eisman (a teen non-profit founder with about 1400 followers) generated over 4 million YouTube views. Working with micro-influencers could mean more authentic engagement as more brands worry about bots. (Ad Age)
