Lilo & Stitch is riding the live-action remake wave. Nostalgia entertainment isn’t going anywhere and bringing back classics has become a standby strategy for Disney, who is already in the process of rebooting Lady and the Tramp, Aladdin, The Lion King, and Dumbo. Lady and the Tramp is debuting on Disney’s streaming service while Aladdin will make it to major theaters, showing how Disney is adapting to a box office that Netflix has been changing with their small screen movie premieres.
