Streaming subscription services have knocked YouTube off its music streaming throne.

Streaming subscription services have knocked YouTube off its music streaming throne. A new report from BuzzAngle has revealed that U.S. audio on-demand services like Spotify and Apple Music saw streams increase by 83% between 2015 to 2016, while digital video music streams like YouTube grew by just 7.5%. Music consumption is up as whole for a second year in row, going up by 4.2% since 2015, mostly spurred by streaming. (The Drum US)
