Snapchat is continuing to take over TV, adding Planet Earth II to its growing number of series. The BBC will be releasing six episodes, including exclusive footage, to the platform before the series’ U.S. TV debut. The network is the latest to develop Snapchat-specific shows for the what has been described as a “Millennial skinny bundle” of content on the platform. Reportedly seeing 10 billion video views daily, Snapchat has created a “lean back” experience where users can watch and flip through content without need for engagement.
