Millennials may say they like to make ethical investments, but they’re not necessarily following through. Swell Investing found that 78% of Millennial investors consider a company’s social impact before investing, but only 24% actually put “their money where their morals are.” Swell, an app that helps facilitate investors backing companies they care about, said they’re “big believers that people do the right thing once they are presented with the right information,” so maybe it’s just a question of making Millennials stock market-savvy first.
