Gen Z and Millennial daters are getting the ick from people dependent on AI. According to a new Hily survey, 64% of U.S. Gen Z and 56% of Millennials said they would not date someone who uses AI regularly. More than half of Gen Z said it would be a dealbreaker specifically if someone used AI for career or financial advice. Some young people especially consider it a red flag if someone uses AI on a more personal level: 69% of Gen Z and 60% of Millennials said they wouldn’t date someone who used AI as a therapist. Another 65% of Gen Z and 51% of Millennials say they wouldn’t marry someone who used AI to help write their wedding vows. For Gen Z, someone’s AI usage seems to say a lot about their judgment and independence. The survey shows that 60% of Gen Z and 54% of Millennials would find someone extremely attractive if they admitted to never using AI to make personal decisions. (Fast Company)
