Speaking of Millennial nostalgia, the Krabby Patty is finally real! Sort of. Burger King just dropped a limited-edition menu tied to the upcoming release of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. The menu features the iconic Krabby Patty (as a Whopper) with a yellow square bun, coin-shaped bacon tots honoring Mr. Krabs, a pink Patrick-themed pie, and a pineapple float. TikTok is already flooded with employee sneak peeks and early reviews, with creators calling the tots “dangerous” and the Whopper surprisingly solid. The crossover taps directly into both Millennial and Gen Z nostalgia—YPulse data shows it still shows up in Gen Z’s favorite TV show rankings. Brands continue to lean on nostalgic IP to drive engagement, and bringing fictional fast food to life is likely to inspire real drive-thru traffic. (The Daily Dot)
