Over eight in ten new moms in the U.S. are Millennials, but marketers can’t treat all these new generation mamas the same. A recent survey found two kinds of Millennial mom: one traditional, and one “new Millennial.” The more conventional moms are “ambitious and determined, and…take pride in handling, not juggling, all aspects of their lives,” while the new Millennial mom is “a digital extrovert, obsessed with pop culture, [with] a strong natural tendency to overshare her thoughts and feelings on social media.” (AdAge)
