A new platform wants to make VR a group experience for sports fans. LiveLike VR, which is currently available through Samsung Gear, allows users to watch the game together, chat, access stats and highlights, and see different angles of the field in a virtual stadium. Users can create a customizable stadium, an avatar for themselves, and in invite friends anywhere in the world to join in—an upcoming development will allow them to send those invites through Facebook. For broadcasters sending the stream to the startup will be as easy as filming from one wide lens camera, with no expensive add-ons needed. (Springwise)
