Looks like Chipotle has a long way to go to win over consumers’ hearts again. A Harris Poll survey has revealed that after ranking as the number one fast-casual Mexican restaurant three years in row, Chipotle has lost its title to Moe’s. In fact, it didn’t even rank in the top four, falling behind Taco Bell, Qdoba Mexican Grill, and Baja Fresh Mexican Grill. The fast casual food brand has struggled to recover from the E. coli breakout of last year, and a recent Ypulse survey revealed that 32% of 13-33-year-olds have stopped eating at Chipotle because of their food safety issues.
