eBay is tapping into a style icon’s social following to pull in more Millennials. Model Karlie Kloss is asking her millions of followers to help redecorate her apartment using eBay’s new Unboxed collection—which she curated herself. If she chooses to purchase an item suggested by a fan, they’re automatically entered to win the item as well. Less than hour after being released on Kloss’s social channels, the promotional videos garnered more than 100,000 organic views. The collaboration is part of eBay’s larger effort to target Millennials “by engaging social influencers reflective of the eBay brand and leveraging their social followers.” (brandchannel)
