While some older employees may fear a robot takeover, Millennials are welcoming it. When the Options Group asked Wall Street employees how improved technology will impact their careers within five years, at least 8% of employees over the age of 26 agreed it would make them obsolete, but no employee under the age of 26 “checked that box,” indicating that “concerns about technology grow stronger with age.” Instead, employees under 26-years-old were most likely to believe it would lead to a better work-life balance.
