Beer brands have been exploring new beverages to win over Millennial drinkers, and now a new boozy trend is being born: alcoholic root beer. Pabst purchased the increasingly popular brand Not Your Father’s Root Beer earlier this year, and they’re pushing the sweet, nostalgic brew, which some are mixing with whiskey and others are using to make grownup floats. Not Your Father’s “appeals to people who aren’t keen on beer that tastes like, well, beer.” The brand is currently tagged on Instagram over 21,400 times. (Bloomberg)
