Watching TV is a top three spare time activity for all generations, but for teens, listening to music and reading slightly edge out the small screen. According to a recent Nielsen report, watching TV is the number one spare time activity for 21-64-year-olds, while 37% of 15-20-year-olds prioritize music. Nielsen also reports that teens’ top future aspiration is making money, while older Millennials have being fit and healthy at the top of their list. That could be why Millennials are also more likely than other groups to pay more for food with health benefits. (MediaPost)
