Young couples are getting more prenups than older gens. Americans in general are becoming more supportive of prenup agreements, with 50% supporting them in 2024 compared to 42% the year before. And this may be coming from young people especially embracing them. Regardless of whether they’re splitting large assets, couples are seeing the benefits of understanding each other’s financial goals before getting married. While only 20% of all married couples have a prenup, young couples are far more likely: 41% of Gen Z and 47% of engaged or married Millennial couples have one in place. (Quartz)
